1969 20 Watt Plexi Mini Bluesbreaker 2X10 Combo Model 1958

Marshall 20 Watt Plexi Mini Bluesbreaker 2X10 Combo Amp 1969 Clean, Neat, and Sweet Here's a Mini-Bluesbreaker Model 1958 that most folks will only ever get to see in the Marshall Book. Second Version features the Legendary Plexi Control Panel, lay-down Power Transformer and full length Basketweave Speaker Cloth. Plexi Panel is very nice and has two cracks. Marshall Logo has the gold edge. Some of the control knobs are newer. DE T2537 Power Trans is wired European 220 Volts, so USA users will need a step down transformer. I can provide one if needed. European Customers with 220 Volt can plug it right in. The output transformer is not the original. It is a light hammer grey color, and has a horse-shoe end-bell, varnish impregnated, is connected by solder lugs, and has a top connection board that is identical to the DE transformers used in the 20 watt heads of the period. The holes, the tabs, the lugs all identical. It looks like an original 18 or 20 watt output transformer. The bottom mounting screw holes are slightly different than the original, that's all. The amp sounds perfect. The chassis has a full length cut in it after the edge of the Tag Board. I don't know why. You can see it in the picture. One toggle switch is a replacement. One speaker cone may be a replacement, only because it has no code, but it looks identical to the other cone. The upper rear panel is not the original, but looks good. The Tone is classic Marshall !!! These Plexi 20 watt 2X10" Combos are beautiful and they are also super rare. When you plug your guitar into it, you quickly see what the fuss is all about. She sings sweetly and is in perfect working order. I've been actively dealing Vintage Marshalls since 2004. This Model 1958 is the rarest model combo after the Model 1962. Few 20 watters ever come up for sale, and Plexi Combos never seem to come up for sale. The amp has had some parts replaced through the years to keep it operating, so I'll set the price at half the cost of an excellent example... if you could find one.... Perfect for someone to play and enjoy now ! Chasis Tag Reads September 4, 1969. Extensive additional pictures if you email Call Paul at 401 722 5837 for info.
